Kashgar قەشقەر (Kashi 喀什) - Hotan خوتەن‎ (Hetian 和田)

After i spent almost a week in Kashgar, i was ready to leave this very nice city! I was coming in to Kashgar from the northern silkroad, and now i leave the city on the southern silkroad to Hotan. Was nothing to special, almost everywhere was really dry.

Then we went to de Sunday Market.... also really amazing!!

Ohh we close to the Livestock Market

Not only the sheeps got a shave..

The view outside from Kashgar to the Pamir Mountains

cross the Pamir Plateau (3000m) passing the the foothills of the 7719m high Kongur Mountain

Tashkurgan the last major chinese town (3600m) and only 120km far from the Pakistanborder
