Kashgar قەشقەر (Kashi 喀什)

I arrived save in Kashgar. In chinese the name is Kashi. The language in this area is Uighur, is a part of the Turkic language family and thus fairly similar to other regional languages. The signs are written in Arabic ( used phonetically - Uiguhr has no similarities to the Semitic languages).

Here in Kashgar is official Beijingtime, but all watches are 2h behind. Only the Goverment and others like Bus, Train, Office and Bank follow the Beijingtime.

The Kashgar old city youth hostel, is very nice located, as the name says, in the old city. So the first night (9.15pm Beijingtime) i was out for the first look at the street's.
